Connect a Wallet

CrowdTime uses your wallet as the identity it issues MCP tokens against. There are no email accounts and no passwords — every token is bound to your wallet address.

Supported wallets

Any Cardano wallet that implements CIP-30 signData.

Confirmed: VESPR, ETERNL

Network

The MCP server runs against Cardano Mainnet. Make sure your wallet is set to Mainnet before you start.

Connecting

1. Open the CrowdTime app and click Connect Wallet in the header.
2. Pick your wallet from the modal.
3. Approve the connection request in the browser wallet extension.

Your wallet appears in the header once the connection succeeds.

Proving ownership

When you click Issue token, CrowdTime:

1. Generates a short-lived, one-shot nonce.
2. Asks your wallet to sign the nonce via CIP-30 signData.
3. Submits the signature for verification on the blockchain network.

TIP

Each bearer token can only be seen once. You can issue as many tokens as you need.

The MCP tokens you've issued and any provider pairings you've authorised.
